“Dogma Mundi” is the ninth album by the Pericopes trio and captures their tour-closing concert at the Parma Jazz Frontiere Festival, a show crafted after more than forty European dates showcasing their latest studio album.
The uniqueness of “Dogma Mundi” lies in its bold dual audio/video format (CD + Blu-ray), offering an immersive live experience, a prismatic unity different from the studio versions where energy, strength, and intensity of the live performance reveal the effectiveness of a true power trio par excellence.
With “Dogma Mundi” Pericopes returns to home, Parma which for over thirty years has been an important hub for contemporary productions, festivals, and jazz education. In addition to the concert, the Blu-ray is enriched with extra content (video clips, interviews, studio sessions) that document the development of this concept, thanks to the involvement of collaborators and visual artists from the area who personally contributed to shaping this artistic production, supported by the ParmaFrontiere label and its festival.
